How to say the vegetables in French!

Today, let’s learn how to pronounce the name of the main French vegetables! At the end of this five minute podcast, you will be able to pronounce the names of French vegetables! Imagine yourself in the small French village, shopping at the farm market!!

One liter is more or less un quart

Here is list of names of most common vegetables  and their pronunciations

Les Légumes (masculine) = Vegetables
Le Poireau = Leek
La Laitue = Salade
La Courgette = Zucchini
L’Aubergine = Eggplant
L’Ail = Garlic

Le Chou = Cabbage
La Carotte = Carrot
La Tomate = Tomato
La Pomme de terre = Potato
L’Oignon = Onion
