How to protest in French!

#1 Protest using This is not…

Ce n’est pas vrai ! = this isn’t true!

Ce n’est pas possible ! = It’s not possible!

Ce n’est pas moi !  = It’s not me!

Ce n’est pas juste ! = it’s unfair!

C’est impossible ! = it’s impossible!

#2 Protest using I did not…

Je n’ai rien fait ! = I didn’t do anything!

Je n’ai pas fait ça ! = I didn’t do this!

Je n’ai rien dit ! = I didn’t do anything

Je n’ai pas dit ça ! = I didn’t say that

Je ne vais pas me laisser faire ! = I’m not going to let that happen!

#3 Protest using Why?

Pourquoi tu m’accuses ? = Why are accusing me/ Why are you blaming me?

Pourquoi vous m’accusez ? = Same formal

Ne m’accusez pas – Ne m’accuse pas = Don’t blame me!

#4 Pratique

You’re making an error. I didn’t say that! = Vous vous trompez. Je n’ai pas dit ça !

I’m not going to let it happen! This is not true! = Je ne vais pas me laisser faire ! Ce n’est pas vrai.

It’s not me! I didn’t do anything! = Ce n’est pas moi ! Je n’ai rien fait !

Don’t blame me. It’s unfair! = Ne m’accuse pas! Ce n’est pas juste / Ne m’accusez pas. Ce n’est pas juste.
