Vous faites quoi samedi soir ? = What are you doing on Saturday night?

Tu fais quoi ? (informal/singular)

Standard French is used in all context. As a beginner, stay on the safe side and stick with standard French if you’re not sure!

Qu’est-ce que vous faites ? (plural/formal).

Qu’est-ce que vous faites ce weekend? = what are you doing this weekend?

Qu’est-ce que tu fais ? (informal/singular)

Qu’est-ce que tu fais dans la vie ? = What do you do for a living?
