Pouvoir
Pouvoir has two meanings
Pouvoir = to be able
Pouvoir = Can
Here are a few sentences to help:
Je peux prendre le train demain = I’m able to take the train tomorrow.
Est-ce que tu peux acheter du pain ? = Can you buy some brad?
Il peut rester ce soir = He can stay tonight
Elle peut marcher plus vite. = She is able to walk faster.
Est-ce que nous pouvons manger ici ? = Can we eat here ?
Vous pouvez acheter les billets à l’entrée = You can buy the tickets at the entrance.
Ils peuvent voyager pendant la semaine = They’re able to travel during the week.
Pouvoir au présent
Pouvoir est une verbe irrégulier.
Je peux
Tu peux
Il peut/ Elle peut
Nous pouvons
Vous pouvez
Ils/Elles peuvent
