La citrouille = pumpkin (remember the letters ‘ill’ make the sound ‘y’ as in ‘Yes’ or ‘You)

Le potiron = pumpkin

Le raisin = grapes

La pomme =  apple

Le champignon = Mushroom (remember the cluster ‘gn’ makes the sound like in ‘canyon’ or ‘onion’)

La châtaigne = Chestnut

La noisette = Hazelnut

La figue = Fig
